DESCRIPTION:
Seth Thomas Clock Co., Plymouth Hollow Hollow, Conn., 30 hour, time and strike, weight brass movement "Steeple" shelf clock.
CONDITION:
Refinished mahogany veneered case has some veneer missing on the sides at the base and a small knick on the top crest. Original painted dial has scattered loss and inpainting in the center area. Original bottom Fenn tablet. Original tablet in top has some background loss. Clean label inside. Movement is signed. This was Seth Thomas's version of the steeple clock. The company did not introduced a typical style steeple until years later.
